Arduino Remote Control Car
A tracked RC car built with an Arduino UNO R3 and tank chassis kit to develop robotics and programming skills.
This project is a custom-built Arduino-based RC tank, created as a way to explore robotics and physical computing. The goal was to fulfill a long-time interest in building a remote-controlled robotic vehicle, inspired by watching BattleBots. The build features an Arduino UNO R3, a Hiwonder Tank Car Chassis Kit, a HiLetgo HC-05 Bluetooth module, and an L298P Motor Driver Module, among other components. A Milwaukee M12 battery was used to power the system, with a smartphone app acting as the controller. Custom 3D-printed parts were designed and printed, including a battery holder and a top deck spacer. This project pushed the boundaries of fabrication, coding, and problem-solving while making robotics more approachable.
